Terpsichore

This is an ambigram design requested by a follower (from the Netherlands) on my blog. She had seen the "Georgia" ambigram and wanted a design in the same style. Here is her description of the word and what it means to her:

"In Greek mythology, Terpsichore (in Greek: Τερψιχόρη) "delight of dancing" was one of the nine Muses, ruling over dance and the dramatic chorus. She lends her name to the word "terpsichorean" which means "of or relating to dance". She is sometimes said to be the mother of the Sirens by Achelous. Her name comes from the Greek words τέρπω ("delight") and χoρός ("dance").
I [have been dancing] since I was 4 years old and for me it's not only a hobby but a way of life. For me Terpsichore would mean 'she who loves to dance'."

It was a great challenge. If you have any ideas for ambigrams, please leave a comment.

Dear ambigram mate,

first I want to apologize for my scholastic English.
To begin with I want to express my sincerest congratulations on your work.
The estimate that I have for you has led me to contact you without further delay, hoping that my efforts are rewarded.
Just like you, I’m a fan of ambigrams and, as such, I delight myself in creating someone.
Maybe I could be called a beginner, but I like to believe that I’m not.
Precisely for this reason I contact you to have your opinion about my works, if you want.
I'd like to share with you our passion about ambigrams.
I hope to have you intrigued and receive your reply.

Yours sincerely,

Man....probably many just do it and give no credits, but I want to tattoo this ambigram on my leg. I'm a dancer and a Mythology lover and now i'm just working to get an Arhangel riding a Sol key Dragon with Terpsichore written under it.

I couldn't finalize it as no artist works for free, except me (a teach dans lessons for people whom don't afford dancing lessons.

If you want to talk more :

photo_riki -is my mess , or Alex Words (facebook).

Hope you approve. Thank you very much.

Hi Alex,

Sorry for the delay. I had originally created this for another fan for a tattoo. They decided to try a different direction due to the changes in their life. I respect that and I hope I can help them with that in the future.

You may use this if you like. You don't need to credit me or even pay me. I really appreciate the professional courtesy of asking me first. I would like to see the final result as long as the image is tasteful.

Cheers!

Michael

Hi Michael,
My Fiance actually found this a couple months ago and had it tattooed on her arm. She saw you had given the OK to someone else to use it. She was a dancer and singer and loved it. She just passed away a month ago and I'd love to get an ambigram using the same font you used here with her name if possible if you could do one for me to have it tattooed on my arm. I will pay you for your time. I don't know how to get in touch with you other than posting here. Please let me know If you could do that for me. I just want it to say SUZYB (Suzy B).
Thanks,
Ryan
